I am on a life-time journey of Health and Wellness. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a Healer. I always thought I wanted to practice modern medicine, but have discovered my passion is Holistic Health. I'm a massage therapist, a chiropractor and a yogi-in-training. I find fulfillment in the work I do. My job is to help people find balance. It is very rewarding.

Challenge Yourself

For the month of August I am going to challenge myself. This challenge goes along with my living lean mindset right now. So for the month of August I am cutting out alcohol and aspartame from my diet. To some this might seem easy, but I've noticed that these are two of my weaknesses (wine and diet soda). I guess this "challenge" came about because I believe in accountability. I have noticed that if I don't have accountability in my life then I tend to let things slip and not think twice about it. I have always "thought" of myself as a healthy individual, but have noticed that I don't always "follow" that path. It is sometimes easier to be accountable when you have other people who are supporting you. I have chosen to keep my challenge fairly simple in hopes that it will bring about bigger change in my life. Is there something that you want to challenge yourself to? If so, please share.

More of my Favorite Things...



As I am preparing for AFC in 3 weeks, I have found that this website is the best for helping me to determine how far I am running each day. I used it this morning to map a leisurely run along sail bay and mission beach. I haven't been going that far on my runs (today was only 3.68 miles), but I figure if I keep doing just a little each day I'll be just fine to finish.
