I am on a life-time journey of Health and Wellness. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a Healer. I always thought I wanted to practice modern medicine, but have discovered my passion is Holistic Health. I'm a massage therapist, a chiropractor and a yogi-in-training. I find fulfillment in the work I do. My job is to help people find balance. It is very rewarding.

Stay Sassy….

spawater3 My new (well I guess it’s been around for awhile) favorite water that I prepared and have been drinking is Sassy Water. It comes from the Flat Belly Diet book (not that I’m following it…just enjoying that water). It’s very easy to make and it only has 4 ingredients plus water! You want to prepare and let sit overnight. I enjoy drinking water that has flavor to it rather that drinking it plain, and this hits the spot. Try it, you’ll like it.

8-10 cup of water (I just filled up a pitcher)

12-15 mint leaves

1 medium cucumber (peeled and sliced)

2 lemons (sliced)

1 Tablespoon grated fresh ginger

Add all ingredients and water into a larger pitcher, sit overnight and enjoy! I didn’t quite finish my whole pitcher of water the first day and noticed that by day two the mint leaves were starting to turn brown. Time for a new batch!
