I am on a life-time journey of Health and Wellness. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a Healer. I always thought I wanted to practice modern medicine, but have discovered my passion is Holistic Health. I'm a massage therapist, a chiropractor and a yogi-in-training. I find fulfillment in the work I do. My job is to help people find balance. It is very rewarding.

“Practice Makes Perfect”

Does practice really make perfect as the saying goes??? I guess that is answered by what you determine as perfect. In the practice of yoga, I personally (and I’m sure other’s would agree) don’t believe in perfection. I believe that there is always something to learn from each practice. In my practice of yoga, I am always learning and growing, just as I am in life.

This need for perfectionism comes from society. There is so much pressure placed on us to be perfect. It starts from a young age and transcends into our adults years. We feel the need to be perfect in our academics, in our appearance, in our careers… I found that I fell into this trap of “trying” to live this “perfect” life as well. I realize now it was because I was insecure with my own self and what other people though of me. I now see how unhappy and unfilled I had become.

Yoga has been a big part of my life for the past year and half now. There are many life lessons learned that I can relate with my practice of yoga. A fellow yogi once said, “Like every practice, you’ve got to do it; if you don’t do it, you don't grow in your practice.” I take this to heart each time that I practice.
